1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. Local storage works in a similar way. Some are needed for a site to work. Others help the owner understand how the site is used. The law says we need your consent for anything that is not strictly necessary.

2. What we use

Strictly necessary. These keep the site working and secure, and remember choices you make on it, such as your cookie choice or a banner you have closed. You cannot turn them off, because the site needs them. They do not track you across other sites.

Cookieless analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count visits and measure page speed. They do not use cookies, and they do not identify you or follow you across other sites.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent). If we use Google Analytics, it sets cookies that start with "_ga". They help us see how people find and use the site. They are only set if you click Accept on our cookie banner, and last for up to 2 years. Google processes this data, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Embedded videos. Our YouTube videos show a thumbnail until you press play. YouTube only loads, and may set its own cookies, when you choose to play the video.

We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies on this site.

3. Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work properly.
